I have been engaged with creative pursuits in many forms and mediums from a very young age. I graduated with honors from the Jewellery Methods program at George Brown College in 2015, and did subsequent training in Gemmology at the Canadian Gemmological Association in 2016. After working as a bench jeweller for several years,  I launched LOLA Jewellery in 2019 and the business continues to expand every year.

 

I now work exclusively out of my home studio in Alexandria, Ontario. I use traditional metalsmithing techniques like soldering, forging, sawing, polishing, enamelling, wire-working, etching and texturing to achieve striking pieces using sterling silver, gold fill, copper, and precious gemstones. 

 

The inspiration for my pieces comes from my appreciation for precious and semi precious metals and gemstones. I am also an avid seed bead enthusiast and I enjoy the meditative process of creating these interesting and colorful mini tapestries. As of late I have been experimenting with the art of enamelling on copper. I love to learn new skills and continue to grow my collection with every passing year!
